HPV vaccinations
A vaccination to protect against cancers and other infections.

The HPV vaccination helps protect against cancers (including cervical cancer) and genital warts, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
HPV is a very common sexually transmitted infection – it’s extremely rare to have HPV without any sexual relationships.
It’s best to get vaccinated before you have sex for the first time, as it means that you are protected before any exposure to HPV. However, you will still benefit from the vaccine if you have already had sex.
Almost everyone can have the HPV vaccine, including breastfeeding women. However, it is not suitable for pregnant women.
