Marie Stopes Bangladesh Launches New Project: “Delivering Quality SRH-FP Services to Underserved Areas in Bangladesh”
Marie Stopes Bangladesh (MSB) is proud to announce the launch of a new one-year project titled “Delivering Quality SRH-FP Services to Underserved Areas in Bangladesh”, running from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
The project aims to deliver high-quality sexual and reproductive health and family planning (SRH-FP) services which includes both long-term and short-term family planning methods as well as pathology services to underserved communities across rural, semi-urban, and urban areas of Bangladesh.
Services will be provided in 36 districts across the country, including: Dhaka, Sylhet, Sunamganj, Habiganj, Brahmanbaria, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Joypurhat, Naogaon, Khulna, Bagerhat, Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Moulvibazar, Cumilla, Kushtia, Jashore, Gaibandha, Sirajganj, Natore, Chapainawabganj, Tangail, Rajshahi, Bogura, Chandpur, Faridpur, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Netrokona, Narsingdi/Gazipur/Gopalgonj and Barishal districts in Bangladesh.
Through this initiative, a total of 220,141 women and men will receive essential SRH-FP and pathology services, helping improve health outcomes and ensure access to quality care for disadvantaged populations. Marie Stopes Bangladesh remains committed to ensuring universal access to reproductive health services and empowering individuals and communities to make informed choices about their health and well-being.
