On 17 July 2025, the launching meeting of the “MS Ladies – A Project of Promoting Women’s Health Wellbeing through Quality SRH Services” was held with great success. We were honoured by the presence of Dr. Ashrafi Ahmad, ndc, Director General of Family Planning, as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Kishwar Imdad, Country Director of Marie Stopes Bangladesh, who graced the event.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including all Directors of the Family Planning Department, Divisional Directors, and Deputy and Assistant Directors from the MCH and CCSDP units.
The project aims to:
- Expand access to SA/PAC and IUD services
- Enhance the quality of counselling
- Strengthen the client follow-up pathway to ensure that women receive respectful, continuous, and high-quality care.
This initiative marks a significant step forward in improving sexual and reproductive health services for women across Bangladesh.
